CHANGES Have Hit A Disney World Store

Changes big and small happen at Disney World seemingly every day.

From new merchandise that rotates on and off the shelves, to new snacks that become available to grub on, to new seasonal decorations — it can be a lot to keep up with! We make it our mission to share with you all each of the changes that take place in the parks, so today, we’re taking you with us to check out one new change in particular.

At Island Mercantile in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, a change was recently made at the check-out counter. We recently saw curtains up at the store, but those have now been removed to reveal…

…a newly-installed counter with some BRIGHT teal and orange designs!

Before, we’ve seen checkout counters with red and teal, as you can see in the back of the photo below. While this isn’t the same checkout area, the counters each looked similar to the one below.

We think that the new counters offer a refreshing pop of color! The main counter when you first walk into the store has also been completely removed. Now, this checkout counter is on the side with a guest queue.
