BREAKING: Construction Walls Come DOWN at EPCOT’s New Moana Attraction

EPCOT has been going through a huge transformation over the past few years, and it’s nearing completion!

A big part of this expansion is the new attractions including Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure and Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. Now, we’ve got a huge update on an attraction that has been in the works at EPCOT — Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana!

We stopped by EPCOT to check on the upcoming attraction and…the walls were DOWN.

Now there is just a line of the iconic Disney bushes surrounding the attraction.

Since these are shorter than the walls, you can see some parts of the attraction sticking up over the bushes now.

Exciting!

We’ve been able to watch the construction progress from the Monorail, but it’s exciting to see some changes from the ground!

There is currently no exact opening date for Journey of Water, but it is expected to open before the end of the year. Destination D23 is coming up in September and we may get some more news about the attraction then. Cast Member previews were also announced, so it is likely it will open to the public very soon — but we’ll just have to wait and see!
