We’re sure by now you’ve heard ALL about The Walt Disney Company’s BIG 100th anniversary that’s being celebrated EVERYWHERE this year.

We’ve already been to Disneyland to see all the 100th anniversary decor and eat some 100th anniversary treats, but we’re now spotting more stuff in Disney World, including new merchandise. Now, though, one of the most inexpensive 100th anniversary souvenirs is available.

We were walking around Disney’s Animal Kingdom today and decided to check out the pressed penny machines. Now, if you’re not familiar with these, you basically put $1 into the machines and you get a pressed penny with one of three designs. Or you can put in $3 and get all three designs.

Today, though, we noticed some NEW designs had popped up, and they’re dedicated to the 100th anniversary! We found one available on this machine that has Nick Wilde and Judy Hopps from Zootopia on it.

Another machine had the characters from Up!

However, one of the Disney100 pressed pennies totally surprised us. Because take a good look at these characters. You might recognize them from Ice Age – it’s Sid and Scratte. Say what? If you recall, these are Disney characters now because the Ice Age film franchise was originally owned by 20th Century Fox, which Disney bought in 2019. Now, these two characters have their own Disney100 pressed penny, and how cool is that?

What’s great about these souvenirs is the price — where else can you get a 100th anniversary souvenir for just $1? You can collect a TON of these without ever breaking the bank! So be sure to keep an eye out for these new pressed pennies, and if you’ve never made one in Disney World, add it to your list of things to do during your next trip. We think these make GREAT mementos and, well, kids love them, too.
