Staying at a Disney World deluxe resort usually comes with beautiful theming, nice rooms, and perks like Extended Evening Hours. One might argue, though, that one of the most beautiful deluxe resorts in Disney World is Disney’s Wilderness Lodge.
This hotel is inspired by the beauty of nature, and it shows in every gorgeous detail (and if you haven’t seen it during the holidays, you’re missing out!). But if you have a stay booked at Wilderness Lodge, which rooms are the best?
Copper Creek Villa Rooms
One of the newest additions to Wilderness Lodge is the Copper Creek Villa Rooms and Cabins, which is the Disney Vacation Club area of the resort. The villa rooms are so much fun and just beautiful, with national park theming and nice, clean details.
You can get 1, 2, and 3-bedroom villas, as well as deluxe studios (which sleep up to 5 adults), rooms and suites (that sleep up to 4 adults), and club-level villas (which sleep up to 6 adults).
Here’s a pro tip: the rooms that end in **15 on each floor are corner studio villas with a view of the pool and lake. These rooms are a little bigger than other studio rooms, so if you want some additional space, put in a room request! (We usually ask for 5115 or 6115).
Copper Creek Cabins
Copper Creek also has cabins, that are perfect for larger groups. The 2-bedroom cabins (which sleep up to 8 adults) are also on the lake, meaning you’ve got a beautiful water view to enjoy during your trip.
These rooms also have a private, screened-in deck area that looks out over the woods with a built-in hot tub.
Wilderness Lodge Rooms That Overlook Magic Kingdom
The one thing we love about Wilderness Lodge is that it’s VERY close to Magic Kingdom (just a quick boat ride away). That means you can get rooms that look out over Magic Kingdom — and you know what that means, right? That means you can watch the fireworks at Magic Kingdom from the comfort of your room!
Here’s another pro tip: even numbered rooms on the Wilderness Lodge end of the resort face the woods with potential views of Magic Kingdom and Disney’s Contemporary Resort. Odd-numbered rooms will generally face the pool (these would potentially be noisier rooms).
So if you’re looking to book a stay at Wilderness Lodge and want the best room available, keep these in mind! You can also always check out our reader reviews of Wilderness Lodge here.
