Back in September Hurricane Ian hit Florida and caused many theme parks including Universal Orlando and Disney World to close for a few days.

As of this week, Tropical Storm Nicole is on the way to Florida and many aspects of Florida have already been impacted. The Orlando International Airport announced closures and Disney World started to cancel and close certain experiences.
Now, Disney World announced that the parks will close again due to Tropical Storm Nicole. This will be a phased closure starting today, November 9th. Here are the closures:

- Magic Kingdom: Closing November 9th at 7PM. Last dining reservations for Be Our Guest, Liberty Tree Tavern, Diamond Horseshoe, and Cinderella’s Royal Table will be at 6PM. The last dining reservations at all other locations will be at 6:30PM.
- EPCOT: Closing November 9th at 7PM. Last dining reservations for Monsieur Paul, Space 220 Restaurant, Akershus Royal Banquet Hall, and Garden Grill Restaurant will be at 6PM. Last dining reservations for other restaurants at 6:30PM.
- Disney’s Hollywood Studios: Closing on November 9th at 6PM. Last dining reservations will take place at 6PM.
- Disney’s Animal Kingdom: Closing on November 9th at 5PM. Last dining reservations will take place at 5PM.

Disney encourages guests to grab food and drinks at the theme parks before going back to their hotels. Disney also warned that the theme parks will probably not be able to open at the scheduled time on November 10th. We’ll be on the lookout for reopening details from Disney and share them with you.

Winter Summerland Miniature Golf and Fantasia Gardens Miniature Golf will close on November 9th at 7PM and will remain closed on November 10th.

Disney already shared that Typhoon Lagoon would be closed and the Fantasmic! and Extended Evening Hours were canceled today. Because the parks will be closed, all of the other nighttime spectaculars for November 9th are canceled.

Disney World hotels are also impacted by the closures. Some closures were announced yesterday, but then were quietly removed by Disney later in the day. But as of November 9th, this is how the hotels are affected.

The Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser also canceled the voyage that was set to begin on November 10th. If you have a reservation, Disney should be reaching out to reschedule or cancel your reservation.

Disney Springs is also closing on November 9th at 7PM with the last dining reservations at 6:30PM. It will also be closed on the morning of November 10th.

Disney is not enforcing cancelation policies for dining and other experiences including Savi’s Workshop and Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. If you pre-paid for a reservation, you’ll be refunded.

Performances of Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground have been cancelled for November 9th and the Ferrytale Fireworks: A Sparkling Dessert Cruise has been cancelled for November 9th.
We’ll continue to keep you updated on the closures and Tropical Storm Nicole as it approaches Florida.
