There are all kinds of fun to have during the holidays in Disney World but if you’ve only ever stuck to just the parks then you’ve been missing out on some awesome holiday fun that doesn’t require a ticket. The life-size gingerbread house in Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is one of the most iconic holiday displays in Disney World — and we have an update!

You can find the Grand Floridian gingerbread house in the lobby of the Grand Floridian, and yes, it’s made with real gingerbread. Along with the beautiful display, when the gingerbread house officially opens on November 9th there will also be special holiday treats to buy!

Ahead of the opening, we were able to see which holiday treats will be offered this year, which includes quite a few festive items, including cookies, lollipops, gingerbread, and more.

The life-size house is made with 1,050 pounds of honey, 140 pints of egg whites, 600 pounds of powdered sugar, 700 pounds of chocolate, 800 pounds of flour, 35 pounds of spices, and, of course, Disney magic and pixie dust.
