The holiday season has fully descended upon Disney World, and we couldn’t be more excited.
The holiday decorations are up, the merchandise has arrived, and construction has started on one of our favorite Disney World holiday traditions, the gingerbread house at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. Now, we know when that gingerbread house will open!
Disney has announced that the gingerbread house at Disney’s Grand Floridian will open on November 9th — so soon! We’ve been following along with its progress, seeing it go from its basic structure…
…to getting its shingles on and starting to really take shape.
This thing is MASSIVE — what’s even better is that once it opens, you’ll be able to buy holiday treats there, too! This is one of the most popular holiday displays in Disney World, so make sure you put it on your must-see list if you’re visiting the resort this holiday season.
Looking for more things to do in Disney World during the holidays? You might want to consider getting tickets to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. You’ll also want to check out the EPCOT Festival of the Holidays. There’s even a Christmas Tree Stroll in Disney Springs to check out plus all the holiday decor at each hotel.
This is also a good time to stock up on holiday merchandise, and there is a LOT of it. You can check out everything we’ve seen in Disney World so far here.
