There’s a new restaurant coming to Disney World soon! The BoardWalk Bakery is officially closed now, and the BoardWalk Deli will be taking its place this summer.
We’ve seen a lot of the menu for the BoardWalk Deli already, and Disney announced that it will officially open sometime this summer. With July nearly over, we know that the Deli will need to open soon to meet that deadline. And now, it looks like we might know WHEN the BoardWalk Deli will open to guests!
Disney’s webpage for the BoardWalk Deli is showing that this restaurant will open on August 15th, 2022. That’s less than a month away! No hours are showing for the dates before August 15th, and starting on that day it shows that the Deli will be open from 7AM to 10PM. Thanks to Scott Gustin, who noticed this change.
Note that Disney has not officially announced this opening date, so it’s possible that it will change between now and August 15th.
When it does open, the BoardWalk Deli will have breakfast food like house-made bagels, lunch and dinner options like a Warm Pastrami Reuben, and desserts like pastries and Cannoli.
During a visit to the BoardWalk today, we saw that the BoardWalk Bakery has officially closed in preparation for the new Deli’s opening.
