Moonlight Magic Is Returning to Disney World Soon!

You might say that Disney World is a pretty VIP experience all on its own, but there are some extra-special experiences that are reserved for certain select guests.

Cinderella Castle 50th Anniversary

For example, guests staying at Deluxe resorts can take advantage of Extended Evening Hours. Guests can also pay for private VIP tours of the theme parks. Now, an exclusive event is returning to Disney World, but you have to be invited in order to attend!

Members of the DVC (Disney Vacation Club) can participate in the Moonlight Magic events, which are basically after-hours parties in the Disney World parks.

Moonlight Magic was canceled in 2020, but it’s finally returning to Disney World this year! Here’s what we know about this year’s events so far.

When Moonlight Magic returns, guests will get to enjoy exclusive after-hours access to the parks. Certain attractions will remain open for the event, and there will also be character sightings, entertainment, and complimentary treats.

  1. Yes!! We are DVC members from the uk and thought we’d never be able to go to a moonlight magic event! But we will be there for the July 26th event in animal kingdom so definitely going to try to book! Do you need to have a park ticket activated for that day or can we get in without?

    1. Hi Matthew! If you wish to enter a park before the event, valid theme park admission and reservation are required, otherwise, you will not need to make a park reservation.
