2 Fan-Favorite Rides Will Soon CLOSE for Refurbishment in Disneyland

There are few unexpected things that could totally RUIN your trip to a Disney park.

Rides can go down unexpectedly, you might experience tech issues, or other complications can arise. But there is a BIG thing that you can prepare for ahead of your trip — refurbishment closures. Rides close from time to time in Disneyland and Disney World (and other Disney parks) for routine maintenance and refurbishment. If you go into your trip prepared to handle these closures, then you won’t be caught unawares! The Disneyland Monorail will be closing temporarily at some point, and the Matterhorn Bobsleds will be closing temporarily as well. But recently we saw that two MORE attractions will close temporarily at Disneyland soon!

First up, Indiana Jones Adventure will be closed at Disneyland from March 8th until March 11th.

Hours for the attraction are listed again on March 12th, so it looks like this closure won’t be too long! But just keep in mind that refurbishment schedules can change.

The other attraction that will be closed is Pirates of the Caribbean. The ride will close on March 14th, and is expected to reopen sometime in early summer 2022 according to Disney’s website.

Additionally, Blue Bayou Restaurant, which has a view of Pirates of the Caribbean, will also close for refurbishment on April 21st, 2022. It’s unknown when it will reopen.

We’ll keep you updated as soon as we know when Pirates of the Caribbean will be reopening, and we’ll let you know about any other closures we find out about. Stay tuned to AllEars for more!
