Disney Parks have seen many changes as of late, as has the company itself.

Bob Iger stepped down from the position of CEO to be Chairman for the Walt Disney Company. However, he will be leaving the company altogether on January 1st, 2022. While Bob Chapek has replaced him as the CEO, many people have been wondering what Bob Iger would be doing in his career after his leave from Disney. And, we might have an idea of what Iger will be doing in that transition!

The Hollywood Reporter has revealed that Bob Iger will possibly be writing a follow up book to his memoir, The Ride of a Lifetime: Lessons Learned From 15 Years as CEO of the Walt Disney Company.

ICM’s Esther Newberg, who operates as Iger’s book agent, has stated that she’s “certainly hoping there will be another one.” However, she hasn’t seen any pages just yet, although Iger has plenty of material to draw on. The Ride of a Lifetime was originally published on a one-book deal with Random House in 2016, but the publishing company would most likely be considered for the sequel as well.

On top of a new book, Bob Iger has also been considered to be a key ambassador post to China or the U.K. under President Joe Biden. However, Iger had noted that he isn’t contemplating politics as a next step for himself post-Disney.
