We know — Disney World is dropping a LOT of news lately that it’s hard to keep up with it all! From new attractions to the latest high-tech experiences and even the return of Annual Passes, there are so many features coming to the parks that you might be forgetting about a few other projects in the works.

And, if you plan on going to Disney World this fall in time for the 50th anniversary celebrations, you’ll actually have the chance to stay at a BRAND NEW hotel on property! Want to know more? Then, let’s dive into everything you need to know about Disney World’s Swan Reserve coming soon!
Originally, the Swan Reserve had its grand opening scheduled for this past summer. However, continued delays then pushed its debut until the beginning of September and then the end of September as well. Most recently, the Swan Reserve has seen its opening pushed back until October instead. However, reservations for the new hotel have been open since February, so you can still book your stay ahead of its opening!

So, what will the Swan Reserve actually be like? When it’s completed, the hotel will have 349 guest rooms, 149 suites, and 2 presidential suites that have beautiful floor-to-ceiling windows. A few of the amazing amenities that will be available include a signature Mediterranean restaurant, a grab-n-go cafe, a scenic pool area with an elevated deck and fire pit, a fitness center, a business center, an event space, and a rooftop spot with views of the parks called the Vue. The Swan Reserve will even serve as one of Disney World’s wedding venues too!

When the hotel first opens to guest (which will be right around the 50th anniversary!), it will have a pretty steep price tag ranging from $870 to $930 per night, depending on the room. However, the cost will drop significantly after its opening month to around $530 to $560, starting November 2021 through February 2022.

If you’re wondering if the price tag is worth it for you specifically, though, the Swan Reserve will be located VERY close to both EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Guests will be within walking distance to these two parks, while Disney Transportation (like water taxis) will also be made available to guests staying at the resort. Plus, hotel guests will also have access to the neighboring Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin pools, restaurants, and spa!

Along with receiving all of the perks of a Disney World Resort, one of the biggest benefits of staying at the Swan Reserve is that guests will be able to take advantage of both Early Theme Park Hours and Extended Evening Hours. That means that you’ll be able to enter the parks 30 minutes early before official park opening, as well as stay two hours later in the evening to ride their favorite attractions with shorter lines on select days.

And, after you chill out in your hotel room for the evening, you’ll be able to watch both EPCOT’s Harmonious fireworks and the Wonderful World of Animation fireworks from Disney’s Hollywood Studios right from your window. If that’s not a way to end a day in Disney World, we don’t know what is!

When additional details about the Swan Reserve’s grand opening are released, we’ll be sure to update you on everything you need to know! In the meantime, stay tuned with AllEars for the latest Disney entertainment and news!
