We’re no strangers to technical issues and glitches when it comes to Disney!
We’ve waited in many an online waiting room, seen web pages crash frequently, and dealt with app failures more times than we can count. But, we’re not sure that we’ve ever experienced something quite as unusual as what’s going on with the Disney World website tonight!
Currently, there’s a strange tech issue where if you click on the “Things to Do” tab at the top of the Disney World website, then click on any of the “Dining” options (including the Make Reservations, About Dining, All Restaurants, and Dining Plans tabs), you’ll be directed to a waiting room.
But, the strange thing about the waiting room is that it leads to a virtual queue for Disneyland Resort! The page doesn’t note what the queue is for, but we’ve seen similar loading pages in times past.
The likely explanation is that there is some kind of website update happening (it is the middle of the night, after all). We’ll make sure to keep a close watch on it and let you know if we notice any changes. If you’re looking to plan some dining, it looks like you’ll just have to wait until the issue is fixed.
