Magic Kingdom’s New Park Map Features Some Exciting Additions!

If you’re heading to the Disney World parks, there are a few things you’re going to need!

You’ll want to be prepared when visiting Disney World!

We’ve got a list of things to pack in your bag, and we highly recommend that you download the My Disney Experience app on your phone. But one of the most classic things you’re going to need when you visit is a park map — and Magic Kingdom just got a new design!

You can pick up Disney World’s park maps for free at each theme park’s entrance, and when we stopped to check one out today at Magic Kingdom, we spotted a new photo on the front!

There’s a new park map!

If this new map doesn’t make you smile, we don’t know what will! Disney has been making an effort to be more inclusive in the past few months, and this map helps promote the idea that Disney World is for guests of all ages, abilities, backgrounds, and walks of life.

How sweet is this?!

But besides the heartwarming cover, the inside is also filled with great information. You can find restaurants, rides, bathrooms, and all kinds of other helpful features here.

There is loads of great information on the inside.

Some things have been slightly altered on the map’s list. For instance, Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant is now listed as “open seasonally,” likely since Columbia Harbour House is reopening soon. Also, Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor has made it back on the list of attractions ahead of its reopening.

The attractions list looks a little different.

The map is also home to some great details you’ll want to know when visiting the parks.

Check out the back for important tips, transportation details, and park rules.

  1. I love the front picture of the map. My late aunt Gail had down’s syndrome and Disney World was always a favorite. Gail liked many of the attractions and shows, but her favorite that we could never pass by was what she called Small World. Most young people with Downs love Disney. The pure joy in their faces will bring a tear to your eye. Thank you Disney for featuring your number one fans!!!
