There have been a lot of changes around Disney World as more restaurants, shows, and hotels reopen!
And, though these updates are usually reflected on Disney’s website and the My Disney Experience app immediately, it can sometimes take a little bit of time before they make their way onto the official park maps. Most recently, we’ve seen maps updated at EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and now there’s a brand NEW map in Disney’s Animal Kingdom!
For reference, here’s what the park maps looked like previously…
…and here’s what they look like now! They feature a view that you can catch daily at the front of the park during the short macaw show, Animal Encounters: Winged Encounters – The Kingdom Takes Flight.
And, you can open the map to check out the full image that expands all the way to the back of the pamphlet where you’ll also find important health and safety information.
Plus, you’ll still find a “Plan Your Adventure” section and additional Tips & Information that will help you navigate your day in the park.
A few notable things missing from the map are the recently reopened snack kiosks including the Smiling Crocodile, Eight Spoon Cafe, and Warung Outpost. But, even if they aren’t on the paper map, you can always check the My Disney Experience app for the hours of operation and to see what’s open.
Of course, we’ll continue to keep an eye out for more spots in Disney’s Animal Kingdom (and other parks) that are reopening so be sure to stay tuned to AllEars for the most up-to-date Disney news and updates!
