NEWS: Select Rides in All Four Disney World Parks Shut Down Temporarily

When you’re visiting Walt Disney World in the summer, you never know exactly what you’re going to face.

Between inclement weather, crowds, and other things that may pop up, you can have a wrench thrown into the middle of your park-going plans without much warning. Recently, we’ve seen a few power outages at Disney’s Animal Kingdom that impacted attractions, and today, the outage was much more widespread.

This afternoon, attractions at all four parks were shut down temporarily, according to the My Disney Experience app. It impacted rides like Frozen Ever After at EPCOT

…and even Big Thunder Mountain Railroad at Magic Kingdom.

Reportedly a power surge has caused the issue and Cast Members are informing guests that they are having technical difficulties at attraction queues. But, some attractions are already beginning to reopen. Of course, we will keep an eye out for updates, so stay tuned to AllEars for the latest!
