So what’ll it take for the train to reopen? Well, TRON construction will have to make some major progress — and since that work reportedly delayed, it could be a while. We’ll keep you posted if we hear anything!

The Hall of Presidents

The Hall of Presidents closed in January, after the election, to install an audio-animatronic for President Joe Biden. This closure is typical for the show — it happens every time a new president is elected!

While Disney hasn’t officially announced a reopening date, we have seen the Confectionery removed from Disney’s refurbishment calendar starting July 4th. Could that be when it’s due to reopen? We’ll have to wait and see!

We’ve got big changes going on at Disney’s resorts, too! Disney’s Polynesian Resort is undergoing a huge transformation that involves changes to the entryway, lobby, and monorail station. The guest rooms are also getting a Moana-inspired makeover! Reservations for those rooms are available starting this July, and the rest of the construction will finish up this summer, too.

Monorail Construction

At Disney’s Contemporary Resort, a noisy refurbishment is taking place! The Main Tower Guest Rooms are getting some work, which means you’ll see plenty of scrim covering areas of the hotel.
