PHOTOS: There's FILMING Happening in Disney World Today!

Remember when characters from your favorite sitcom shows got to visit Disney and you spent an entire episode vicariously taking a vacation?

Remember watching your favorite TV shows vacation to Disney?

Well, it may be less common for a sitcom family to be filming in Disney World, but some reality shows have picked up on the Disney trend. And, if you ever wondered what it would be like to be at Disney World when they were filming the episodes, we’ve got a glimpse for you!

Today, on our way into Magic Kingdom, we noticed that the bridge connecting the Cinderella Castle hub to the area where Tomorrowland and Fantasyland meet was completely blocked off. And, it looked like there was some filming happening!

There’s something going on across the way!

Thanks to our camera zoom, we could see that there were some flowers and a lot of lighting and cameras set up on the bridge. The big canopy towering over the set-up is likely there to help block some of the sun from whatever they’ll be filming in the area.

What could they be filming?

And, closer to Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe we could see some red and white umbrellas with more crew members busy at work.

They were taking up the entire bridge

Earlier this week, we learned that the reality show, American Idol, would be taking a trip to Disney World with the contestants who had made it to the next round. The contestants all get to enjoy the parks and will be performing for a “Disney Night” that will air on May 2nd. So, this could be some filming for the show!
