Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort has officially reopened to guests!

This Disney Value Resort closed about one year ago and they are finally rolling out the red carpet to all the stars who come to stay at Disney World. So, now we can get back to walking through the oversized Disney movies!
Like other Disney hotels, All-Star Movies has reopened with additional health and safety measures in place, so we decided to head over and check out everything new (and returning) happening! Come along with us to see what has changed for the reopening!

Check-In and Lobby
First, we stopped into the lobby to see how the check-in process looks now that the hotel has reopened. Guests are distanced around the check-in area, and masks are required at all times in public spaces. A sign in the lobby notifies guests that they don’t need to visit the front desk if they completed online check-in and have a MagicBand or activated their digital key.

A brand new Raya and the Last Dragon wall has also been placed in the lobby so you can pose for a photo!

What Is Currently Open
Dining
If you’re hungry, the World Premiere Food Court has reopened and is serving up breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The quick-service location is operating with Mobile Order through the My Disney Experience app. But, guests can also scan the QR code on the sign in front of the World Premiere Food Court to be redirected to the order page.

Once we returned back to the Food Court to pick up our food, we noticed that the Cast Members were looking super snazzy in their bright blue collared shirts…

…and red aprons decorated with film icons!

The Mobile Order pick-up area had giant movie posters lining the area as well with a nod to Soul and Disney+’s The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers.

The registers just behind the Mobile Order Pick-Up area were closed during this time.

The seating area had been switching around to operate under distancing guidelines as the tables are separated from one another.

Some tables also had signs noting that face masks are required.

The seating area was also surrounded by past movies, current shows, and future movies, like Luca…

…Toy Story 4…

…and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier!

And, if you’re over by the pool, you can grab something to eat from Silver Screen Spirits Pool Bar for more treats at the Disney Resort!

The bar has distancing measures as well as plexiglass barriers as additional health and safety precautions!

Shopping
Donald’s Double Feature is also open and ready for business!

The store had SO much merchandise for guests to enjoy…

…including Raya and the Last Dragon items…

…themed resort mugs…

…Disney tees…

…and even Easter offerings! The baskets feature characters like Mickey Mouse…

…Baby Yoda…

…as well as coloring books, markers, and candy.

Pools
With the reopening of the hotel, a few different activities are also back up and running! You can take an afternoon swim in two of the pools including the Fantasia-Themed Pool and Duck Pond Pool.

And, the kiddie pool, water play area, and playground have also reopened! The pool opens to guests from 10AM to 11PM with health and safety precautions in place.

The large pool is open to guests of all ages…

…as the Sorcerer Mickey statue douses everyone with water streams!

The pool chairs around the area area are distanced from others, so parties can enjoy their time in a safe environment!

A sign in front of the pool area also notes which activities will be taking place throughout the week for families! Movies Under the Stars has also picked up once again at Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort, so you can end your day in Disney World on a chill note.

Close to the pool, you can find the Movies Under the Stars tent with chairs set up for guests.

You can also head over to the Duck Pond Pool to score a pool chair and a cold drink while you relax!

Even though this particular pool is inspired by the Mighty Ducks…

…you can find Goofy guarding his team’s net!

Currently, the restrooms in the pool area are closed to guests, so you’ll want to keep that in mind during your visit!

Transportation
Guests staying at All-Star Movies will have access to daily bus transportation to and from the four Disney Parks, Blizzard Beach, and Disney Springs once again!

The bus stop has a hand sanitizer, safety sign, chains, and distancing markers to keep guests apart as they wait for their Disney Transportation.

Rooms
The resort rooms have health and safety reminders that the precautions taking place around the resort…

…as well as the trash cans near the stairs.

The All-Stars Movies Resort has various themed areas of the resort, including Toy Story with Buzz Lightyear…

…Woody…

…and the Green Army Men.

On top of the Fantasia Pool, there’s also a Fantasia section of the resort…

…where you can find a giant Sorcerer Mickey hat…

…and the magic brooms!

There’s also the Herbie section with the Love Bug front and center…

…with an entire wall dedicated to number 53…

…as well as a film clapperboard.

There’s also a fantastic 101 Dalmatians area that makes us love our pups even more…

…and you can even become a part of the film with interactive photo-ops!

It sure is exciting to be back and have another Disney hotel reopen for guests! We’ll have to return soon to keep track of all the new things that are sure to pop up soon at the resorts.
