As of January 2021, Disney World no longer provides complimentary MagicBands to resort guests.
In lieu of MagicBands, guests are able to use the My Disney Experience app or Keys to the World cards to access their hotel room and parks. But, that hasn’t stopped Disney from releasing new designs, like these glittery MagicBands. And, if glitter isn’t your thing, there are even more MagicBands calling on old and new Disney fandom.
Over at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, we spotted three new magic bands that highlight some Disney favorites. The Frontierland MagicBand has icons from the Magic Kingdom land. If you look close you can spot a train coming from a mountain like the Thunder Mountain ride, a canoe and barn like you might find on your journey to Tom Sawyer Island, and other details like a horseshoe, cactus, and lamp. The background of the MagicBand is orange, like the hue you might find in Frontierland!
The other new MagicBand we spotted is the Kingdom of Cute Park Icons MagicBand. When you think of Disney World, you probably think of the most of the things on this band! There are icons from all four parks, the Orange Bird, mad teacups, antique cars, Figment, Disney snacks, and even more! If you simply can’t choose one favorite thing about Disney World, this MagicBand has it all!
Are you old enough to remember the Disney movie, Recess: Schools Out? It was released in theaters back in 2001 and 20 years later, there’s a Recess MagicBand! The navy blue band features T.J. Detweiler and his friends on their mission to uncover a plot to get rid of summer vacation.
You can find all of these MagicBands at Riverside Depot in Animal Kingdom for $29.99. As always, we’ll be on the lookout for more new Disney merchandise so stay tuned!
