During the last Investor Day we got a peek at a LOT of new shows and movies that would be coming to Disney+and to theaters in the future.
One of the projects that was announced was a remake of Cheaper by the Dozen which would premiere directly on Disney+. We already heard that the remake would star Gabrielle Union, but now we’ve gotten news about another actor that’s been cast in the film.
According to Variety, Zach Braff has been cast in the upcoming remake of Cheaper by the Dozen.
The movie is set to focus on a multiracial, blended family of 12 who is navigating both a hectic family life and a family business. The movie will premiere on Disney+ in 2022.
Kenya Barris, who created the TV show Blackish, co-wrote the script for the Cheaper by the Dozen remake and will produce the film. Gail Lerner is set to direct the movie. And Gabrielle Union will executive produce the movie, along with Shawn Levy.
