Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure is officially opening at EPCOT’s France Pavilion next year, and we couldn’t be more pumped!
And though we’ve spotted construction in this area of World Showcase, tonight during D23 Fantastic World’s The Magic of Possibility presentation, we learned more about the new atmosphere coming to the France Pavilion, and it’s totally RATical!
Disney Imagineers revealed one fan favorite part of Walt Disney Studios Park at Disneyland Paris will be making its way to EPCOT: the Ratatouille Fountain!
“The fountain, from a distance, feels like an authentic Parisian fountain, but as you get closer to it, you find it’s really a celebration of the rats,” Roger Gould of Pixar said. “There are rats holding Champagne bottles that are shooting water into the air. And at the very top of the fountain, is a beautiful figure of Remy himself holding a spoon and wearing a little chef’s hat.”
It’s going to be a focal point for all who come to the France Pavilion to ride Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure!
We can’t wait to see this adorable fountain in real life and sip our own Champagne in front of it!
This rat fountain isn’t going to be the only new water element coming to EPCOT. There’s a new fountain coming to World Showcase Lagoon, and Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana is also set to open at the park. And when all of this opens, you know we’ll be there!
