Can This New Brunch Bowl in Disney World Dethrone Our Beloved Fried Chicken?

With so many excellent comfort foods at Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’ in Disney Springs, it’s hard to imagine a new menu item could outshine classics like the fried chicken and Hummingbird Cake. 

Just when we thought brunch couldn’t get any better at this Disney Springs darling, along comes the most incredible brunch bowl we’ve ever seen! 

Homecomin’ is a fan-favorite spot at Disney Springs and offers a brunch menu on Saturdays and Sundays filled with delicious options including the Fried Chicken and Doughnuts and the Hush Puppy Benedict. 

When Chef Art Smith brought back weekend brunch this summer, we couldn’t wait to get our fill of all that Southern comfort food. But our go-to menu items have a new contender: a brand new brunch bowl called “The Hamilton,” which features pimento cheesy grits, topped with braised kale and collards, two over-easy eggs, griddled honey ham, two strips of pecan-smoked bacon, spicy hollandaise sauce, and crispy fried shallots.

• Creaminess? Check.
• Spice? Check.
• Smoky bacon goodness? Check.
• Braised greens so we can pretend we’re being healthy: check!
