Are you obsessed with Disney World food? Who isn’t, and it’s not like we need another excuse to eat more of it, but if you are a Tables in Wonderland member, you’ll be getting exactly that.
A new dining event has been announced for Tables in Wonderland members for January 2020.
Tables in Wonderland is a discount program that offers a 20% discount on dining (up to parties of 10) and access to special events. Tables in Wonderland is only available to Florida residents, Annual Passholders, and Disney Vacation Club Members. You do have to pay to join, but if you are local or in Walt Disney World frequently, it may be worth signing up. To join it is $150 for Passholders and Vacation Club Members, and $175 for Florida residents.
The new event, Contemporary Resort Chef’s Table Experience, is scheduled for Saturday, January 25th, 2020. The experience will include a look at the Contemporary Resort Convention Center’s catering kitchen and walk through the secret entrance to the Chef’s table. We hope it’s through a hidden door behind the spice rack.
The meal is a six-course extravaganza prepared in front of you and includes wine and champagne selections from the Contemporary Resort’s sommelier from the Wagner Family of Wines. This fantastic meal will set you back $259 per guest, and Tables in Wonderland members can make reservations for parties up to 10. However, your normal 20% discount will not apply to the experience.
Below is a look at the six-course menu featuring dishes like Pan Seared Scallops with Green Avocado Marble Red Ribbon Sorel and Mango Salsa and Coffee Crusted Filet Mignon with Chipotle Polenta Cakes, Winter Root Vegetables, and a Chocolate Demi Glaze.
For more information, menus, and to book these special experiences call (407) WDW-4268.
