You’re Not Seeing Things: Stormtroopers at Orlando International Airport!

Travelers at Orlando International Airport on November 16 were greeted with a galactic surprise as Disney gave the shuttle stations a makeover to promote Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios!

Wraps depicting characters and scenes from Disney World’s newest land were installed at shuttle stations across the airport to immerse guests in the world of Star Wars. There are even a few Easter eggs sprinkled about for Star Wars fans to find. That red First Order banner above? It says “Live Your Adventure” in Aurebesh! Seems General Hux is trying a new advertising strategy! 😉

Other scenes depicted include Black Spire Outpost’s Starport (complete with Rey, Chewie, and the Millennium Falcon!) and First Order Cargo Bay. They’re great spots for a photo op before you get to the park, especially as crowds ramp up in anticipation of the release of Rise of the Resistance on December 5!

Beyond the terminals, some of that Star Wars magic has turned up at the Magic of Disney Store. Guests can pose with a pair of adorable astromech droids in front of Baatu’s black spires. Don’t you just want to bring that B-Series Droid home?

With Rise of the Resistance coming on December 5, Rise of Skywalker launching on December 20, and the release of The Mandalorian on Disney+,  it seems like Walt Disney World is kicking its Star Wars promotions into hyperdrive!
