Disney Cruise Line’s Disney Wonder has seen some changes recently (see the announcement here!), but recently the ship headed back out to sea with new and refreshed spaces!
French Quarter Lounge
The biggest change came to a space near Tiana’s Place, one of the ship’s table service restaurants. The French Quarter Lounge is a beautiful, New Orleans-inspired lounge with charm to spare!
The French Quarter Lounge is designed to look like a vibrant outdoor street in the heart of New Orleans and even incorporates a full-size street car! Disney Parks Blog points out that the streetcar is the St. Charles Line — which Princess and the Frog fans might recognize from the film!
Elements of the bar are inspired by Dr. Facilier, and you’ll see nods to this Disney villain throughout. (Check out his business card painted on the wall; Disney Parks Blog points out this is a fun spot for a photo op!)
During the day, French Quarter Lounge will be used for family-friendly trivia and games!
Disney Wonder’s Cove Cafe
The Wonder has also added an adults-only spot: Cove Cafe! This space is inspired as a “coffee shop for world travelers.” During the day, grown ups can sip coffee and tea here, and in the evening, wine and cocktails will be served. Nearby Signals Bar got a similar redesign.
Vibe
Teen space Vibe got a makeover, too! It’s now a contemporary hang-out for those 14-17 years old. The design is described as “open” and “bright”. A coffee shop and some new VR have been added!
