I Can’t Believe It’s Not Table Service: 7 Disney World Meals You Won’t Believe Are From Quick Service Restaurants

Who says you have to go to a table service restaurant to get a good meal in Disney World? We sure don’t!

Be Our Guest Dining Room

In fact, there are several quick service spots in the parks and resorts that are just as good as full service restaurants — and in some cases, better! Here are 7 meals you won’t believe are “fast” food.

1. Tacos at ABC Commissary

Back in 2020, ABC Commissary revamped its menu when it reopened, adding new next-level entrees to the menu. As part of this update, we got two extra-yummy additions — the Shrimp Tacos and the Pork Carnitas Tacos.

These new tacos are definitely a step above what we’d expect from a quick service spot in Disney World, and they come with a side of rice and beans to top it off. Get the shrimp version for $12.99 or the pork carnitas for $11.49.

2. Build Your Own Bowls at Satu’li Canteen

One of the most unique offerings — quick or table service — is the build-your-own bowls in Pandora’s Satu’li Canteen! Travelers start by selecting their base (salad mix, potato hash, beans, or rice), and adding a protein (chicken, beef, tofu, or shrimp and noodle.) Finish your masterpiece by topping it off with a sauce, and voila!

These are a great option for something a little lighter and healthier in the park, but still packed with lots of flavor!

3. Pepito Ternara at Pepe

Pepe is the Quick Service counterpart to the signature restaurant Jaleo by Jose Andres in Disney Springs. All of the sandwiches are incredible, and many are made with traditional Spanish pan de cristal bread.

Pepito Ternera

My favorite is the Pepito Ternera, which comes loaded with lots of high-quality flat-iron steak. And don’t forget to grab a glass of their signature sangria while you’re there!

4. Quiche at Boulangerie Patisserie les Halles

Just about anything at Les Halles is fabulous, but one of the best things is the quiche! They have two options, Quiche Lorraine with ham and cheese or Quiche Florentine with spinach and goat cheese (UPDATE: the Quiche Florentine is currently not on the menu).

Quiche

The perfectly flaky crust is filled with the warm eggy filling and it is delightful! Make sure you pop into the back of the France pavilion,  pick something decadent and you’ll be transported to Paris. And for $7, it’s a steal!

5. Pork Shoulder at  Polite Pig

Polite Pig is brought to us by James Beard award nominees James and Julie Petrakis and you can absolutely tell. The upscale BBQ joint features all different types of proteins, from plank-grilled salmon to a smoked half-chicken.

Pork Shoulder and sides

One of our favorites is the pork shoulder. Like the other entrees, it’s served with jalapeno cornbread, signature slaw, and your choice of a market side. YUM.

6.  Power Salad at Sunshine Seasons

Sunshine Seasons is another great place to grab a healthy meal in the parks. Set up like a food court, you’ll be able to find something for everyone in the family!

Power Salad

Some of the best items are the oak-grilled meats, which are served with sides, or on top of salads like this Power Salad. (It’s topped with quinoa, almonds, and honey vinaigrette as well!)

7. Salmon at the Columbia Harbour House

One of our favorite Quick Service dishes is found at Magic Kingdom’s Columbia Harbour House. This salmon, paired with couscous and broccoli is far from fast food.

It’s delicious and a great choice if you want something lighter in the park. Plus, it’s on the healthier side of theme park food, if you’re sick of french fries and burgers.

  1. Those build your own bowls at Satu’li Canteen are PERFECTION. We came home from our trip and immediately ordered boba balls from Amazon to start making our own

  2. Hi! So if I book a dinner reservation at ABC Commissary, and it’s considered a Quick Service/Fast Casual, will it be a quick service credit used from the dinning plan, not a table service? Thanks.

  3. No Meatloaf with Mashed potatoes at Wolfgang Puck Express ? Or the Half Chicken and Pasta dishes they have.

  4. I see all of those choices, their price ranges and then I feel exponentially better about the sandwiches and snacks we bring into the parks.

  5. Some of these are very good options, but I have never said “I can’t believe it’s not table service” to any of these locations. A table service meal is going to run $20+. None of these are worth $20+ even by Disney standards.

  6. My husband had to return the Tuna Nicoise when we had lunch at Be Our Guest because the tuna had turned. Our server said he was not the first one to do so. Hopefully it was just that one day. The pork was delicious though.

  7. Appreciate the article, but you don’t clarify where the quick service meal is located. In case you didn’t know, Disney World is kind of a big place.
