Been here on several occasions, food is just ok. Wanted to attend Fantasmic, so my party of 10 did ADR dinner package for the show. Service was great, but the food took a bit long to get to our table considering the restaurant was not full. Going to try SCI-Fi in the fall. Again, not terrible but not great.

First stay at POFQ, and loved it! My party of 10 had 3 rooms one set adjoinging and the handicap room was a just a few rooms away. Stayed over Halloween, resort had tons of activities for the kids on Halloween including a DJ and dance party with Trick or Treating that night. Staff was super friendly. The rooms were newly renovated, nice and clean and just a bit more spacious than value resorts. My fav is the ceiling fans, really cools the room off. Grounds of resort are beautiful and quiet. Food court was delicious. Been to Disney 20 times, this is my favorite Moderate resort by far!!!!

Just returned from a wonderful stay at the Yacht Club in early June. Our stay was perfect from start to finish.
We arrived around 11am and were greeted before we even walked in by an attendant who took our name, retrieved our reservation, and walked us to the front desk to have our check in completed. Our room was not ready yet, but we opted to receive a text when it was ready, and left our bags with Bell Services while we walked over to Epcot for lunch.
The walk to Epcot is such a convenience! And the first surprise: We had barely entered the park when my phone buzzed and we learned our room was ready. That was quick!
We enjoyed the park for a few hours, and went to our room. The text we received contained our room number, and our Key to the World cards immediately unlocked the room door - no extra trip to the front desk needed. The next big surprise: Our standard view room had been upgraded to a water view! Our balcony overlooked the boardwalk and water.
The room had the standard Disney setup: Two queen beds, closet, dresser, and dual sinks that were separate from the tub/toilet. The decor was very crisp and white, with subtle nautical elements. I adored it! I can see how it might not be kid-friendly, but for two adults it felt very chic.
Everyone at the hotel was friendly and helpful, from the Concierge, who helped us locate umbrellas when the store had closed, to Bell Services, who brought our luggage to our room within 10 minutes of us calling for it.
The pool area was very lively and popular - we opted to recline with cocktails on the beach. I wish more resorts had actual sandy beaches. This beach was small, but quiet and just right. Plus, at night you can see some of the Illumninations fireworks from it.
The only downside we experienced was in our trips to from and to the airport. We were the last Magic Express stop coming from the airport, which made the bus ride approximately one hour with all the stopping and unloading for other resorts. We were the first stop to MCO, and while we arrived with plenty of time to catch the plane, it was still a bit tedious to stop at three other hotels first.
Other Disney transportation was excellent, however. The boat to Hollywood Studios is gentle and scenic, and the bus to Magic Kingdom moved quickly.
We will absolutely stay at the Yacht Club again. For adults, this is a wonderful resort with lovely rooms and a sophisticated yet still Disney feel.

This is a place we visit almost every trip. It's always fun to sit upstairs. We had the fish, shrimp and the vegetarian chili. While the fish is the same every trip, we thought the quality of the shrimp had improved this time around. We hadn't sampled the chili before and it was very good and super filling. I am not a vegetarian, but wanted something that wasn't fried and was surprised at how tasty it was. The portions here a generous and it seems less crowded than other counter service places. We will be back.

As a group of 6 (including 2 cast members) we enjoyed a truly fun lunch. The decor was smashing and the wait was under 30 minutes. While this is a "counter service" place at lunch, it has a real up-scale feel. We found the ordering kiosk easy to use and the food came to the table quickly via our GPS rose. Be warned that the West Wing area may be too scary for little ones. Our first graders likes the photos on-line and in real life it was too much.
We had the pork, ham and cheese, steak sandwich and a variety of cup cakes. All were met with rave reviews. The pork dish was large enough that I split it with DD age 13. Other reviewers mentioned that the Beast only appeared for a short time. This is true. Be Our Guest is NOT a character meal.
This is a great stop for lunch. I am not certain about dinner. While the menu is impressive, getting a beer with dinner may not be worth the additional cost. Our lunch was $10 per person and we all left feeling full. Note that there are free refills on drinks here. This is not the case in many counter service options.

This is the second time we have visited this restaurant. We love the different foods they serve. Everything was delicious, especially the soups, salads, and desserts! Even my 8 year old daughter loves it!

This was probably our favorite restaurant of the entire trip. We enjoyed the relaxed environment of this restaurant. Nobody rushed us. My husband enjoyed the strip steak and I enjoyed the mahi mahi. This is one of few restaurants that offered more than chicken nuggets and hotdogs on the child menu. My child had the grilled fish with rice and veggies. She also had fruit for dessert since she ate our desserts the entire trip. I would definitely return to this restaurant!

We were disappointed with this restaurant. As soon as we were seated we were served our bread, salad, and appetizers. The chicken wings were undercooked, but the dumplings were delicious as was the bread. We didn't get 2 bites when everyone was rushing to our table with different meats and the rest of the sides. We felt very rushed. The pork and steak were extremely overcooked to the point we couldn't even eat it. However the shrimp and chicken were good. The best part of the meal was the bread pudding for dessert. It was delicious! I am not sure, though, I would book this restaurant just for bread pudding.

The grounds of this resort were beautiful! We stayed in a preferred room building #18, which was close to the food court, main pool, and South bus depot. We never waited more than 20 minutes for a bus, which was stated, at the South Depot. I heard people at other depots waited much longer, though. We enjoyed the food court, especially the create your own pasta bar. The only complaint I have is I wish the entire park had better dining options for kids. My child loves to eat good food, not chicken nuggets, pb&j, and hotdogs. Everything she wanted to eat, she couldn't because we were on the dining plan. The pool was a lot of fun and the life guards took their job seriously. They were never yelling at kids, but would talk to them about how to be safer. My child enjoyed the waterslide and made lots of friends. My husband and I enjoyed the music and pool games. We would definitely return to this resort. We stayed at a deluxe resort last time and cannot justify the cost of staying at a deluxe resort when we can stay at Riverside!

After trying out all the value and most of the moderate resorts, we decided on AKL because my parents finally joined us!! We had an amazing stay in a pool view room. I was worried about the noise, but it was never too loud, even at night. We had no problems with buses being crowded or running late. While some reviewers feel this resort is "too far" away, I have to disagree. Ten more minutes on the bus is not a big deal to stay in such a unique place. If you are worried, please take a look at a WDW map and make the best choice for your family. The rooms are dim, but no so dim that things felt dank. I know that new bedding is in the works, but the old bed spreads really do have to go! We were in a DCV room so there was a fridge, microwave and extra sink which was nice. I will say that the toilet/ shower room is very small. Bathing little children is a challenge. Mousekeeping did a nice job and we had no complaints with the cleanliness of the room. I wasn't sure that a deluxe resort would be worth it, but after our visit to AKL I am sure this was the resort for us.
