We pre-paid for this "new" way of getting from the airport to our Disney resort. Price was average but after waiting 30 minutes & tired from the flight, we still had no idea how long until we could get on a Bus to our Resort. Once we realized how bad they were going to be, we simply ordered an Uber for the same price and were picked up in 5 minutes. Daily rides to the park were just as bad with 20-40 minute waits to/from our Disney resort (Coronado). We didn't even try to use our Mears reservation when leaving to fly home. We preferred to just eat the $90/round-trip cost then deal with their slow speeds and poor information. Just use Uber, you'll have your own ride, it'll be quicker & it will cost the same.
Pros:
None. I imagine they will lose a great deal of business to ride-share now that they aren't fully connected to Disney anymore. I foresee Disney losing some resort business as well since they don't have a trustworthyCons:

Use Uber. Bus is over an hour late to pick up family of six at airport. Horrible way to start your magical vacation.

On the way from the airport to the hotel, we had about a half hour wait, which was similar to our prior magical express experience, maybe even a bit better. The staff seemed ok, helpful with the luggage and did their jobs well. The return trip was better, less waiting and the driver was very courteous and helpful. Overall this was probably as good as can be expected. Only docking 1 star due to the wait and the fact that I couldn’t get Wi-Fi (I’m not sure there is any)

Transport from the airport to the resort was quick and easy. The driver was really nice and had great Disney Trivia for us. The transport from the resort to the airport was the issue. I received an email with a pick up time of 6:20 am. We were at the pick up location at 6:10. I received a text that the driver was in route. The text message even gave me the option of tracking my driver. By 6:35 we were still waiting and I began to worry so I clicked on the tracker but the bus wasn’t moving. I called MEARS and the rep told me that the driver was held up but would arrive in 5 minutes. Meanwhile there was another family waiting as well and they were told that we missed the bus because the driver had already come through?! After 5 minutes the rep told me that we would be riding in a van and would have direct transport to the airport. The driver did arrive but by now it was 7:00. We waited 40 minutes to be picked up! Definitely NOT up to Magical Express Standards. It was an extremely stressful start to our long travel day and I can’t say that I’ll use MEARS again.

We had no issues with getting from the airport to resort. From our resort to airport we were to be picked up at 10:35 am. At 11:15 am after multiple attempts to calling I finally got to talk to someone that sent a Mears Taxi out to us that arrived at 11:30 or a few minutes after. We arrived at airport around noon and our flight left at 1:30. We made it but was very stressful. Will not be using Mears again.

Using Mears to get to our resort from Orlando International Airport was just like the using Magical Express. We boarded a bus right away, waited 5 minutes and headed off to the resort. We made two resorts stops before arriving at our resort. Returning to Orlando International Airport from our resort Mears was a bit more stressful. They were 30 minutes late picking us up. We then made two more resort stops. At the last resort stop we didn't pick up any passengers (maybe they got tired of waiting and called an Uber?). We arrived at the airport with about an hour to spare but we still had to get through security. It took us about 30 minutes from the time we arrived at the airport to get to security and through the security line. We made our flight and were able to grab a very quick breakfast but it was a bit stressful. I think our next trip we will rent a car to bring us back to the airport to insure we get to the airport on time.

Never picked us up. We were early. Waited and waited. Have 4 children. Our night turned into a nightmare.

Not a good choice. Unless you want to spend over 2 hours to waste I’d make other plans. I know I will next time.
