This meal came family style but not in the abundance that it comes when you are at 'Ohana. We had to ask for more of specific items because it wasn't enough. The characters here spend a lot more time with you and interact. Mickey sat at our table and played with my kids. Our waitress could have learned how to be friendlier. I had a hard time paying the required tip for 6 or more people.
Pros:
decent food, charactersCons:

Ate here on 6/9. Second time to eat here in our visits to DW. Never disappoints. Food was awesome as always. Service was great refilling our drinks before they were empty. Got seconds on the dessert; gotta love that. In fact, got seconds on just about everything. Characters were great with the girls, and spent lots of time with them.
Pros:
food, characters, atmosphere....Cons:

Family & I had dinner here early July 2013. Previously had diner in 2012. Overall a nice meal with great character interaction.
First had salad with fresh vegies. Dressing was very nice. Also had rolls with maple butter - yummy.
Served family style was turkey with stuffing, beef tenderloin & fresh fish. All were excellent. The childrens meal was a roasted drumstick, vegies & mac & cheese. Everything was wonderful & flavorful. Dessert for DD was an ice cream cone cupcake. DH & I had a warm blueberry cobbler with whip cream.
Character interaction was good. Mickey, Pluto Chip & Dale. Each stopped at the table several times.
Only problem was the waitress was very slow with drinks & clearing the plates. With that being the only negative, we will return again!!

As a child, DD loved this restaurant. The whole rotating restaurant thing fascinated her. She enjoyed the characters and the changing scenery.
As an adult, I would categorize Garden Grill as just okay. The food was decent. The dessert was mediocre, as I've noticed most Disney restaurants have been on the dessert side recently.
Biggest complaint has got to be how terribly awkward it is when the seats rotate toward the front of the restaurant, where people are standing around watching you eat. One couple pulled out a camera and took pictures of Mickey in the seats above us. I've got to say, it's not very comfortable trying to eat while people are staring and snapping pictures That we will be in. That restaurant couldn't rotate us out of that section fast enough, lol.
If you have kids, I'd say try it once.
Pros:
Revolving restaurant with changing sceneryCons:
Food is "eh." People watching you eat.Reviewed by nurseholly Review Date: 10/02/2013

I am giving this place a ten on character interaction alone! I can't even tell you how great they were! I was laughing so hard, and I'm not a character interaction person. My kids had a ball. The food is worthy of a very good rating, maybe an 8, but the characters make it must do. The beef and potatoes were excellent, but I didn't care very much for the turkey. However, they brought more beef very quickly when requested. I would definitely go here again!
Pros:
the characters are GREAT hereCons:

We dined here for a third time this trip Sept 3, 2013. We have had wonderful food and service each and every time. The food is fresh and amazing here, we enjoy the bread, salad, all three meats and desert. The characters are fun and our son loves to look down at The Land ride while we rotate. Highly recommended!
Pros:
Fabulous food, great characters and atmosphereCons:

I was unsure if my picky 9 year old would enjoy the food here but she loved it! I loved the potatoes and turkey. The dessert was the best! Characters kept coming around and had so much fun playing their parts!

This is the restaurant were we enjoyed the food the least. The harvest platter was consisted of mostly meat and we found the food average. The revolving restaurant is quite unique and the kids got a lot of interaction with the characters. They even came by the table twice. But we would not go back.
