Our last sea day. The weather was overcast and rainy. I started to organize things for the trip home. We can hardly believe that it’s almost that time.
In the afternoon, we finally made time to see Alice in Wonderland in 3D. Michael got to the theater early and was given a quick behind-the-scenes tour of the Buena Vista Theater. The technician showed him the equipment they used to use when movies were shown from actual film. Now they pop in a hard drive to show the pictures!
The play this evening was Disney Cruise Line’s all-time best: Disney Dreams. I came prepared with my tissues and it did not disappoint. Once again Peter Pan helped Ann Marie believe in her dreams – genies, princesses, and kings along with faith, trust, and pixie dust!

This was the last dinner where all three couples at our table would be together. Time to capture some memories! Anthony and Marguerite from Holland, Michael and me, and Kim and Tami from Orlando. What a fun group.

Our servers were Anita from the Philippines and her assistant, Joe from India.

Our head server was Mario aka Super Mario. They more than delivered the outstanding Disney service we’ve come to enjoy.

(I’ve also included a picture of Mike’s (in)famous banana bread!)

Later in the evening we were invited to decks 9 and 10 for a “Welcome to Barcelona” party. The ship was sitting just a bit offshore from the city. The lights of the skyline were breathtaking! About 10:30pm despite the wind, rain, and cool temps, Disney delivered yet another wonderful surprise. Fantasy in the Sky fireworks from the dock at Barcelona!!! The music and display were fantastic! What a special treat.

The night was not over yet. Next we headed inside to warm up in Rockin’ Bar D. We thought we were going to “pub night”, but were first entertained by another comedian that had just come aboard, Andy Ford. This was his adult show and it was hilarious. When he was done, Mike decided to head back to the room, but I was determined to stay awake for pub night.
At the end of most trips, the cruise staff puts on a special skit. They attempt to tell us what they would do if they were not part of the Disney crew. I can’t begin to describe it, but pics of a few of the participants might give you an idea. Even though I had seen this once before it was just as funny this time around. If you ever get the chance, do check it out.
