A Word of WARNING If You Want To Meet These 2 Characters at Disneyland

Calling all citizens of Arendelle! Where are Anna and Elsa going?

Sadly, your favorite icy duo might be getting harder to meet on the West Coast.

Currently, Anna and Elsa’s Royal Welcome is a meet and greet in Disney’s California Adventure, located near the Animation Academy. However, starting April 27th, no times are available in the app or on the Disneyland calendar. Yet, no announcements have been made about a closure — temporary or otherwise.

April 8th, 2026 Update: It seems that this has shifted a tiny bit. As of the latest updates, starting April 28th, there are no times available for this experience.

It’s entirely possible that this is just a glitch in the calendar, or potentially that it just hasn’t been updated yet. Either way, we’ll be keeping an eye out for any announcements from Disney about a potential closure or refurbishment.

This news comes amid several rides and experiences currently closed in Disneyland, including an upcoming closure of Pirates of the Caribbean and The Blue Bayou Restaurant. But don’t worry, your princess lovers will not be left princess-less in Disneyland!

All you have to do is jump over to the Disneyland Park, and you can be immersed in the storybook magic and meet several of your favorite princesses at Royal Hall in Fantasyland.

Not to mention all of the iconic characters you can meet back over in DCA! Like the iconic characters in Avengers Campus. 

You can even see Lightning McQueen and the gang driving through the streets of Radiator Springs!
