Magic Kingdom is home to some of the most iconic rides in all of Disney World, especially the ones that are iconic AND nostalgic.

However, we’ll be the first to admit that we’re starting to get pretty worried about one ride in particular. We want Disney World wait times every day, which also means we see just how often they close and have issues. After tallying up ALL the ride closures from December, there’s no way around it — we’re VERY nervous about this one nostalgic ride in Fantasyland.
Magic Kingdom
The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh closed 53 times over a span of 21 days. This would be concerning for any ride, but it’s especially worrisome since this attraction doesn’t feature intense technological elements, a trackless system, or complicated animatronics, so we’re unsure why this ride is closing as often as it is. If it needs some TLC, Disney, we say let’s close it for an extended period of time to give it what it needs!

The only other ride that came even close to this amount of closures in the entirety of Disney World was Prince Charming Regal Carrousel, which closed 49 times in 28 days. However, this ride often closes for the fireworks each night, which accounts for over half of these closures.

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure closed 26 times in 17 days, which isn’t too bad for this ride, but we are noticing it doesn’t seem to want to work well on chilly winter mornings.
EPCOT
Despite how many issues Test Track has had recently, Spaceship Earth closed the most at 37 times in 22 days. This is especially concerning since this ride just came out of a refurbishment a few months ago, but maybe it was just a rough month.

Speaking of Test Track, though, it did close 30 times in 19 days, which isn’t ideal, but does seem to be an improvement! We hope this ride continues to improve as it gets more used to its third rendition.

We’re a little shocked to see that Journey Into Imagination With Figment closed 27 times in 14 days, beating out other technologically advanced rides like Frozen Ever After or Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios
We KNEW there was something going on with Toy Story Mania!, and now we have proof. The ride closed 30 times in 15 days, which is more than we’ve seen in the past. We wouldn’t be surprised if this ride also has to close for an extended period if these issues continue.

Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance closed 24 times in 15 days, which is pretty on par for this advanced ride. There are so many moving parts, so we totally understand that it went down as much as it did — in fact, we’re impressed it wasn’t more often!

Slinky Dog Dash closed 20 times in 13 days, which isn’t bad for one of the most popular rides in the park. It helps that we’re out of the rainy season for Orlando, as this outdoor attraction does need to close when lightning is in the area.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom
Expedition Everest closed 22 times in 16 days, which is concerning since, again, the weather outside wasn’t the cause of most of these closures. It could have been worse, yes, but it also could have been better — we’re hoping we don’t need to start worrying about this ride too.

Despite just coming out of a refurbishment, Kali River Rapids closed 16 times in 12 days, which is less than ideal. Yes, we’re in the chillier months, but it can still get warm in Orlando, so it’s still good to have this attraction available for guests.

Finally, DINOSAUR closed 10 times in 8 days, which isn’t great, since this ride is coming to the end of its lifespan, so we’d really love for it to be open as much as possible for people to experience it before it’s gone. However, it could have been much worse, so we’ll take it!
