Heads Up! Disney+ is Getting a NEW Look!

Hey, Disney+ subscribers — things are about to CHANGE on the streaming service. Don’t worry, though! It’s not another price increase (well, not yet, at least).

Back in 2023, it was announced that Disney would purchase the remaining 33% stake in Hulu, and now, that deal has finally gone through, and we’re starting to see some changes because of it. Your Disney+ app on your phone and TV is about to start looking different — here’s how to navigate it!

According to Engadget, Disney+ is now beginning to roll out its updated look to more U.S. users. The new look adds a horizontal navigation bar at the very top of the page with different tabs — For You (recommendations based on what you’ve previously watched), Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN.

The For You tab is using a new algorithm that uses your viewing history to make better recommendations, and the new look also integrates live TV streams via a dedicated tab in the vertical menu on the left side of the page.

The new look is also being used outside of the United States, but there, it’s part of the rebranding of Disney’s Star streaming service to Hulu. This new look is the latest step Disney has taken to fully integrate Hulu into Disney+ in 2026. While Hulu does have its own tab now, it’ll soon just be meshed into the Disney+ offerings. Additionally, the live TV part of Hulu + Live TV will merge with Fubo in the future, which will create an even larger YouTube TV competitor that Disney will have an overall 70% stake in.
