We love Everglazed Donuts in Disney Springs for their massive, delicious donuts, but now there’s ANOTHER reason to love them!
September is Ovarian Cancer Awareness month, and Everglazed is raising awareness with a new donut! All proceeds from this donut go to cancer research, and we can say wholeheartedly that with how delicious this is, it’s a win-win situation!
All September long, you can head to Everglazed to grab the Ovarian Cancer Awareness Donut, and all proceeds from the donut will go to cancer research! For this special event, Everglazed partnered with HOW, which stands for Hearing the Ovarian Cancer Whisper. They support women with awareness, knowing what to ask their doctor, and financial resources, so that women can focus on getting better.
We also got a chance to hear from survivor Louise Altese-Isidori, who shared that she found out about her diagnosis through testing, rather than experiencing symptoms. She got diagnosed with type 4 in December 2024, then though chemotherapy during the past summer, and is now a survivor.
As for the donut itself, we got to try a small sampler donut, but the real deal is Everglazed’s classic, iconic full-size donut. It’s a perfectly glazed donut with lemon icing. It’s very bright, and the colors are blue and yellow for awareness. The butterfly on top is edible chocolate, and we were impressed by how fluffy and fresh the donut was, and loved that the lemon wasn’t overpowering.
We think this is a great addition to your Disney Springs day, and you get to know that your money is supporting a good cause at the same time!
