If You Own These 5 Disney Items, You’re RICH

Disney collectors do not mess around!

I grew up in a Disney household where my Dad was a Cast Member at Disneyland in the ’90s. He has some of the coolest items, from exclusive Cast Member pins, beautiful artwork, and some old costume pieces. While I think these are the neatest, did you know that people spend thousands of dollars on eBay for more products? I compiled five times that blew my mind!

Starting from lowest to highest…

5. Club 33 Jacket

Club 33 is perhaps one of the most expensive experiences on Disney property. This elite club has insane fees and a waitlist that’s many, many years long, but you might be able to get a reservation there if you know someone. Want to feel like a member without the prices? You can get a Club 33 Jacket! These sell for $450, but it does look like one of the coolest pieces we’ve seen.

4. Disneyland Tickets

Back in the day, Disneyland used to operate with tickets for entry and each ride. You can grab a few tickets for close to $800! Originally, entry to the park cost $2.50, so let’s say this is quite an increase! Do you think it still works?

3. Disney Dollars

Another throwback! Disney Dollars were currency used at Disney World and Disneyland and operated like traditional money. Think of them like gift cards! This listing has 20 Disney Dollars for around $2,5000, and believe it or not, these tickets can still be used in the parks.

2. Original Concept Art

One of my weaknesses in concept art is when it’s from Mary Blair, one of the original names behind Disney Parks and Animation. I usually buy reprints since I don’t have $5,500 lying around, but if you do, you can get original concept art! I love this Peter Pan piece from 1953.

1. The Lion King VHS Tape

Am I the only one who didn’t know that the Lion King VHS tape was such a hot product? This one is from 1995 and sells for around $600,000, but don’t worry, they’re also open to the best offer. I feel like some people have these lying in their garages? This has to be an exaggeration, right?! No way people are truly dropping that kind of money for a VHS?!
