9 Popular Snacks Are Returning to Magic Kingdom Next Week

We are in the month of August, which means it is almost time for the start of Halloween in Disney World! Mickey pumpkins are about to be lining the streets, and exclusive food and drink will be making its way to Magic Kingdom.

Halloween in Disney World

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party officially kicks off on August 15th, and with it comes the return of some popular snacks (as well as new ones, too!). We are rounding up some of our favorite Halloween-themed snacks that are returning to Magic Kingdom soon!

Starting off at the Main Street Bakery you can find the returning Mickey-shaped Cheesecake. It is a pumpkin cheesecake with graham cracker crust and white chocolate-whipped ganache, and it is only available during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.

Mickey-shaped Cheesecake

We thought this cheesecake had great flavor, and it almost tasted like popping a bite of pumpkin pie in your mouth. The graham cracker crust crumbled in your mouth and paired wonderfully with the smooth cheesecake base.

In Adventureland, head to Aloha Isle Refreshments for the DOLE Whip Mango and Chamoy Float. This float is made with DOLE Whip Mango, pineapple juice, chamoy, and chili-lime seasoning. You can grab this during normal park hours and Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.

DOLE Whip Mango and Chamoy Float

We thought this DOLE Whip float was super yummy! The chamoy and chili-lime seasoning add a smoky balance to the sweetness of the pineapple, without being overpowering. We will definitely be grabbing this one again!

Over at Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn & Café, you can find the returning Chocolate-Caramel Tart. This treat was over at Golden Oak Outpost last year, but it has moved! It is a chocolate tart shell filled with chocolate ganache, caramel sauce, and caramel cream topped with TWIX cookie bar pieces and a chocolate piece. You can only get this during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.

This tart has lots of TWIX flavor to it, and while it is quite sweet, we really enjoyed this treat! Although, fair warning that it does get messy, so make sure you grab some napkins.

As well, you can also grab the Grilled Masa Flatbread. This is a grilled corn cake topped with braised chicken, butternut squash puree, cilantro-pumpkin seed sauce, shredded lettuce, Pico de Gallo, and queso fresco

It is also only available during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. This was also one of our favorites last year, and a great option for a savory snack!

The Spring Roll Cart has the Spicy Pork Spring Roll with pineapple mustard. This snack was located at The Friar’s Nook last year but has moved! You can only get this during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.

Spicy Pork Spring Roll

We loved the flavors in this spring roll. It reminded us of the cheeseburger spring roll, but with a tasty pineapple kick! The pineapple mustard is new to the dish this year, so we are interested to see how it tastes with the spring roll.

You can also grab some of our favorites at Casey’s Corner! Here you can grab three varieties of Chipotle Barbecue Pork and Street Corn snacks. You can get it on top of French Fries, Hot Dogs, or Mini Corn Dogs. These dishes are topped with fire-roasted corn, queso fresco, jalapeño ranch, and cilantro. You can only get them during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.

The topping is the same, you just need to decide what base you want. We personally preferred the french fries, but you really can’t go wrong. The pork was super tender with lots of barbecue flavor and a hint of sweetness. The tangy ranch combined with the sweet corn and creamy queso fresco was delicious!

You can also grab some returning favorites from The Friar’s Nook. First up is the Bowl of Bones. This is pork wings fried with jalapeños and tossed in barbecue sauce made with Cherry Coca-Cola. You can only get them during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.

The meat on these is a bit smoky, plus you get a bit of sweetness followed by some spice from the jalapeños. This dish definitely has a bit of a kick to it, but we have really enjoyed it! You can also get the Buffalo Chicken Hand Pie here. It is made with buffalo chicken and mozzarella wrapped in a flaky dough topped with blue cheese crumbles and buffalo-ranch.

Buffalo Chicken Hand Pie

When we last had this snack, it was also on the spicy side, but we loved the flavors and blue cheese powder. Plus, the hand pie dough was flaky and soft, and the chicken inside was nice and tender. We did think it was a bit expensive for what you got, though.

At Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Café, you can get the Terrifyin’ Twice-spiced Chicken Sandwich. It features fried chicken breast dipped in hot honey and topped with pepper jack cheese, jalapeño poppers, and bacon. We loved all the flavors and how well they work together. The jalapeño poppers added a unique flavor and paired great with the hot honey chicken breast. The only thing we didn’t like too much about this was that the bun was a little dry and we wish the texture of the bacon was a bit better.
