Magic Kingdom, we’ll be honest — we’re having a HARD time continuing to protect you.

Summer has been a bit tough on Disney World as a whole when it comes to ride closures, but that’s about what we expect every year due to the summer storms that hit so frequently. However, we have to admit that we’re getting a little concerned about some of these smaller/filler Disney World attractions, because some of them are REALLY struggling and we can’t find out why.
Magic Kingdom
Over in Magic Kingdom, The Magic Carpets of Aladdin closed 43 times in 20 days, which is over TWO times each day! We have a feeling this is largely in part to storms, but that doesn’t explain the second-highest closure.

The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh closed 39 times in 22 days, and this ride…we can’t figure out what’s going on here. It’s not a ride that has any new technology (maybe that’s the problem, actually), and it’s totally indoors. It’s been having issues for a while, so we’re pretty concerned.

Finally, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train closed 39 times in 23 days, which we also feel is largely due to storms since it’s an outdoor attraction. Still, this is one of the most popular ones in the park, so those closures cause some pretty big shakeups in the park!
EPCOT
We’re not thrilled to see that the ride with the highest closures is Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure with 27 closures in 17 days, because that messes up things pretty intensely since it’s one of the most popular rides in the park. However, it’s not Cosmic Rewind, and with how technologically advanced that ride is, that’s impressive!

We’re once again concerned, though, that Journey Into Imagination With Figment closed 22 times in 15 days, because WHY?! What’s going on with this indoor ride that’s causing so many issues? Is it Figment? We love you Figgy, but please let us enjoy your ride!

Gran Fiesta Tour Starring The Three Caballeros closed 21 times in 17 days, which is extra concerning considering this ride had a weeks-long refurbishment earlier this year. What in the world could be going on?
Disney’s Hollywood Studios
We’re not surprised to see that Slinky Dog Dash closed 44 times in 26 days, because between the summer storms and the issues this ride normally can have, this tracks. It doesn’t make it any better, but we hope to see it go down as those summer storms slowly start going away.

We’re sad to see Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith on this list again. It closed 32 times in 19 days, again, even though it’s had multiple refurbishments in the past few years. Hopefully, they can fix these issues when the ride changes over to its new theme next year.

Finally, Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway closed 23 times in 17 days, which isn’t too bad considering how technologically advanced the ride is! We’ve seen worse, so good on you, Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway!
Disney’s Animal Kingdom
At the top of the list, Expedition Everest closed 27 times in 19 days, which isn’t totally surprising considering, again, it being an outdoor attraction in the middle of summer, but we’re hoping it does a little better next month.

Kali River Rapids closed 24 times in 17 days, which we’re also not surprised to see for the same reasons as Expedition Everest, but we’re hopeful it’ll improve as the storms dissipate — this ride is a great way to cool down on hot days!

Finally, DINOSAUR closed 19 times in 13 days, but we can’t (and won’t) complain here, because this ride is running on borrowed time, so we’ll take every single day we can get!
