A brand new restaurant has just opened at Disney World!

We’ve been eagerly anticipating a new restaurant coming to Disney’s Swan and Dolphin Resorts ever since we learned of Shula’s Steakhouse closing its doors for the last time. Now that we’ve already learned a little bit about the upcoming restaurant’s celebrity chef and how you’re expected to dress while dining here, we’re finally able to dig into the menu for the first time and take a look inside!
Bourbon Steak is the newest addition to Disney’s Dolphin Resort and is curated by a James Beard Award-winning chef and restaurateur, Michael Mina. This new restaurant will bring his celebrated, re-imagined modern take on the quintessential American steakhouse. Here, you’ll find the menu has been carefully crafted with premium cuts of beef and seafood infused with global flavors, showcasing the three primary elements of Mina’s culinary philosophy: product, technique, and presentation. The menu will also feature decadent signature desserts, accented by world-class beverage offerings

Celebrity chef Michael Mina is the founder and executive chairman of the MINA Group, which includes over 30 restaurants worldwide. Chef Mina has earned multiple James Beard Awards and has earned a Michelin star at MICHAEL MINA restaurant. He was also recently named Bon Appétit’s Chef of the Year.

Dinner will be the only mealtime offered at this restaurant, and reservations are highly recommended to be made in advance of your visit. Since this is a signature dining restaurant, Bourbon Steak will also require a dress code for its diners while visiting. The dress code calls for dining guest attire that “respects the restaurant’s sophisticated and upscale aesthetic.” It also specifically prohibits swimwear as dress attire to dine here.

We will be doing a full review, so stay tuned for that. In the meantime, you can read our review from a preview event where we tried a bunch of samples from the menu.
