FIRST LOOK Inside Disney World’s NEW Hotel Restaurant

There are so many amazing restaurants around Disney World to try!

We have our tried and true favorites, the ones we skip, and even some new ones that haven’t opened yet. We are eagerly awaiting one of Disney World’s newest restaurants to open, and we finally have a look inside! Let’s check it out together.

Another restaurant is headed to Disney World! Over at Disney’s Swan and Dolphin Resort, Bourbon Steak, a Michael Mina Restaurant, is working on opening its doors. We have been eagerly awaiting this new spot, and now we’re getting a peek inside. 

Over on the Swan and Dolphin website, the hotels shared a glimpse at the restaurant that will be replacing Shula’s Steak House. Not only did we get to see the dark, classic interior, but they even shared a few glimpses of the food coming! We got to see the bone-in ribeye and onion rings…

…the warm beignets with different sauces…

…the Japanese old-fashioned drink…

the tuna tartar, and more! This new restaurant is expected to open mid-summer 2025, which is coming up soon. Chef Michael Mina has founded over 40 restaurants worldwide and “brings a fresh perspective” to all of his dishes.

We were big fans of Shula’s Steak House, so we were sorry to see its doors close after so many years at Disney World. That being said, we’ve gotten a glimpse at what Bourbon Steak has to offer by stopping by its Dana Point location in Southern California.

After our experience, we are eager for its doors to open in Disney World, so it’s a bit closer to home! The countdown is on for this new spot to open, and you can be sure we will let you know as soon as there is an opening date. This isn’t the only change that’s happening at the Swan and Dolphin, though! 

This hotel also recently completed new room renovations, an addition of Lagoon Games, Lanes, and Eats, and more.
