It’s official — It’s Tough To Be A Bug has finally been given a closing date!

Disney has announced that the 3D theatre attraction over at Animal Kingdom, themed after the Pixar film A Bug’s Life will be closing its doors on March 17th, 2025. But the attraction isn’t going away quietly. Tons of Disney fans had a lot to say, so let’s take a look at some of their thoughts!
It’s Tough To Be A Bug will be permanently closing to make way for the new Zootopia-themed show called Zootopia: Better Zoogether in the winter of 2025.

We asked our readers over on Instagram what they thought about this permanent closure and here is what some of them said:
@whatwouldwaltthink said “TBH, not really going to miss it! Don’t remember the last time I saw this show!”
@haveyoureadabooktoday commented, “I’m not sad it’s going, I’m terrified of this show even as an adult, but I do question the wisdom of having so much of the park down at once.”
Even Fry Bucket chimed in stating “I’m celebrating this closure 🎉 coming from someone with arachnephobia 😖”

But not everyone is 100% all in for the closure.
@terridisnni stated, “We’ll miss It’s tough to be a bug😢”
@shlopez13 wrote”I’m a bit sadden by the loss, but I think Zootopia will be a welcome change.”
And @justin_doesdisney simply stated “I’ll miss you, Hopper. 😭😭😭”

Mixed emotions are apparent for It’s Tough To Be A Bug’s closure, but the majority of Disney fans are happy to have a Zootopia-themed attraction coming to the park.

It’s Tough To Be A Bug was an opening day attraction at Animal Kingdom that debuted on April 22, 1998, just seven months before the film officially buzzed into theaters.
A second version of this attraction was created for Disney California Adventure but closed permanently on March 19, 2018.

Though many of us are sad to see this opening day attraction go, we are very excited to see the future of the Tree of Life with Zootopia!

Question..how is it that you ask for comments though there are existing comments already received as detailed in this article? Is there an exclusive group of people that All Ears go to first for feedback?
Hi Rob! We ask for comments so we can quote readers in other articles as well. We get comments on the blog, Facebook, Instagram, X, YouTube, etc. that we pull from when writing articles. 🙂
