Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort is full of island vibes, and the landscaping at the hotel is beautiful. You really feel like you have been transported to a tropical hideaway. We could spend our whole day lounging in the hammocks for sure!

However, we think this is one of the most confusing hotels at Disney World. Not only is the resort HUGE, but it also seems like it has about a million pathways to go anywhere. So, we are sharing some of our favorite shortcuts at this hotel!
Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort is a moderate resort that features 6 villages and a 45-acre lake in the middle called Barefoot Bay. A 1.1-mile promenade runs around Barefoot Bay and connects the various areas of the hotel.

With that being said, one of our first tips for Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort is to take advantage of the trail that runs along Barefoot Bay. If you get lost easily, this pathway will help the resort feel a bit less confusing. Follow the path around the bay to get to your destination. Not only is it a beautiful view, but there is less chance you will get overwhelmed by the maze of walkways around the resort.

Make sure you are taking advantage of Caribbean Cay. This island in the middle of Barefoot Bay not only offers a playground and picnic area, but it can also be a great shortcut to get to Old Port Royale. Old Port Royale is the main building where you will find check-in, activities, shopping, dining, and the main pool for the resort.

Also, it is important to note that there are two Skyliner stations near Caribbean Beach Resort. There is a Caribbean Beach Resort Skyliner station, but the Skyliner station at Disney’s Riviera Resort might be closer to you, depending on where you are. Caribbean Resort is very spread out, so knowing where you are in the hotel can save time getting to the Skyliner. If you are closer to the Riviera station, use that one instead!

Speaking of Disney’s Riviera Resort, you can get to the hotel from either side of Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, so don’t spend extra time trying to get around to one side or the other.

There are so many different pathways at the hotel, and we could spend all day going over the best shortcuts from each building. But we would be here all day doing that, and you would probably be bored out of your mind. One of our biggest recommendations is downloading the My Disney Experience app to give you a great view of all the pathways. Or you can explore the hotel and see where you end up!

It is also important to realize that there can be a lot of different ways to get places. You might even notice that some pathways end up in the same place. For instance, these two pathways are parallel and will eventually get you to the same main road that will take you to the Skyliner station. We definitely recommend using the My Disney Experience app to help guide yourself throughout the resort.

We hope these tips will help you tackle Disney’s Caribbean Resort with more confidence. But also, don’t forget that you can always ask Cast Members if you are confused about where you are going. Stay tuned to AllEars for all your Disney World tips, tricks, and news!
