Is It Just Us or Does This Mean 2 New Disney World Restaurants Are Opening Soon?

If you haven’t been to Disney World in a while, get ready! There is some delicious new food to try!

Disney World has welcomed several new restaurants over the past couple of years including Roundup Rodeo BBQ, Rosa Mexicano, and Shiki Sai, just to name a few. But this year we’re expecting to get some more eateries and we’ve got a big update on these two highly-anticipated spots!

We stopped by Disney’s BoardWalk Inn to check on the construction of the Cake Bake Shop and the Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs stand!

When we walked by the Cake Bake Shop, we noticed a very important update — check out the new sign!

It’s white and gold and simply gorgeous. It matches exactly what we’d expect based on the description of the restaurant and the current locations in Indiana.

There is still some work to be done on the building as a whole, but this is a huge deal! Disney has not announced an opening date just yet, but it’s set to open this year. Originally it was set to open in “late 2023” and then in “early 2024” so hopefully this is a sign we’ll get an official date soon!

That’s not all — we also checked out the construction at the Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs stand. The signs are up over here, too!

Downtown Disney at Disneyland Resort already has a Blue Ribbon location that we are huge fans of, so we were super excited to see Disney World get a location. They’ve got classic corn dogs and some wild items like the infamous pickle corn dog!

On one side of the stand, we spotted an “Order” sign…

…and on the other, we found the “Pickup” window. You can also see around the top it says this spot will have lemonade, corn dogs (of course), and cotton candy. It fits right into the BoardWalk theme in our opinion! There is currently no opening date for this snack spot either.

The BoardWalk has been all over the place when it comes to restaurants with the BoardWalk Deli replacing the BoardWalk Bakery, and Big River Grille closing permanently. However, these restaurants will give new life to this popular Disney World area!
