When are you heading to Disney World next?
No matter when you’re visiting, chances are you’ll need to decide just where you’re going to stay. Disney World hotels come in all sorts of shapes, sizes, and price ranges, and if your trip is coming up soon — you might need to know about this closure!
Heads up if you’ve got an upcoming reservation at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort! The waterslide at the main pool at this hotel — The Dig Site — will be temporarily closed for refurbishment from mid to late May.
According to the Disney World website, The Dig Site waterslide will be closed from May 13th to May 19th, and will reopen on May 20th. The Dig Site pool, hot tub, and smaller pool will all remain open. So, if you’ve got little ones looking forward to using that waterslide during your stay — make sure you prepare them ahead of time!
Disney didn’t share what sort of refurbishments the waterslide will be getting, but we’ll be keeping an eye out for any potential updates.
