Surprise! Magic Kingdom’s Newest Attraction Is NOW OPEN

You’ve probably seen us mention a new attraction coming to Magic Kingdom called “Smellephants on Parade.”

Basically, this is a sort of interactive game where you go around sniffing elephant statues in Storybook Circus. As of May 2nd, this activity, attraction, or whatever you want to call it, has soft opened, so we’re checking it out. Yes, join us as we sniff our way around Magic Kingdom. 

Yes, Smellephants on Parade has arrived — you may notice a few new things in Storybook Circus related to it.

So here’s how it works: you’ll want to visit the ticket booth in front of Big Top Souvenirs.

There, you’ll pick up a map.

This map will have a set of stickers representing the smells you’ll be sniffing for. The smells are cotton candy, popcorn, pink lemonade, snow cone, churro, bubblegum, caramel apple, and and corn dog. 

Inside the map, you’ll find a note from Timothy Q. Mouse explaining what he wants you to do. The map itself shows you where you can find the Smellephants elephant statues. You’ll sniff around the statues and then put the appropriate smell sticker on its place on the map.

If you get stuck, you’ll probably notice that the statues have hints on them. For example, this elephant statue has popcorn on it.

This one looks like a colorful snow cone.

So if you’re looking for something new and fun to do for the whole family, be sure to pop into Storybook Circus to sniff some elephant statues.
