NEWS: Narcoossee's Announces Another Temporary CLOSURE in Disney World

Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort is home to some of our favorite restaurants.

You can get some delicious brunch at Grand Floridian Cafe, Citricos (which is now themed to Mary Poppins Returns) is an upscale favorite, and Narcoosee’s offers amazing views and seafood. Now, Disney just announced that one of these restaurants is closing temporarily for refurbishment.

Thanks to our friend @schreiberjoe on Instagram, we learned that Narcoosee’s is closing for refurbishment as of September 17th, 2023.

There are some fantastic dining options here!

The Disney World website says, “We recently introduced an enhanced interior and menu offerings at Narcoossee’s and will be making a few more equipment updates. Beginning September 17, 2023, Narcoossee’s will be unavailable. We expect to reopen by mid-October.”

So there is no official reopening date just yet, but it looks like we can expect the restaurant to return sometime in mid-October.

Narcoossee’s has had quite a journey over the past few years! The restaurant closed in 2022 for a lengthy refurbishment which resulted in a brand new look. They also debuted new menu items — we love the new vibe of the restaurant!

However, after reopening in April 2023, it is already shutting its doors again. It shouldn’t be as long this time, but we’ll keep you updated on an official opening timeline and if there are any changes that could impact your vacation.
