2021 was filled with new and returning attractions, shows, hotels, and more at Disney World, but 2022 is gearing up to be even better!
At this year’s Destination D23 conference, we learned about a whole bunch of fan-favorite things that will be returning in 2022 like Fantasmic!, the Festival of Fantasy Parade, and more. Plus, Disney also shared that there is a brand new character cavalcade coming to Magic Kingdom in the new year and now we’ve got more details!
The new cavalcade will be called Disney Adventure Friends and will feature the most characters of any cavalcade to date in Disney World!
Disney has yet to announce an exact date that the cavalcade will debut, but this morning we noticed that it is now listed in the My Disney Experience app as opening in early 2022 (which had been previously announced)!
And, when it comes to who you’ll be able to see, we already knew that the cavalcade would feature Baloo, Nick and Judy, Merida, Moana, Elena, characters from Toy Story, Clarabelle. But, now we also know that King Louie from The Jungle Book, Jose Carioca and Panchito from The Three Caballeros, Miguel from Coco, and The Incredibles will be joining in too!
Once it debuts, the cavalcade will travel from Frontierland through Liberty Square and down Main Street, U.S.A. at various times throughout the day. We’ll be keeping an eye out for when the dates and times are announced, so be sure to stay tuned to AllEars for the latest!
