PHOTOS: There’s a Mini Monorail (!!) on Disney World’s Latest Pair of Ears!

Disney World is celebrating its big 50th Anniversary this year, but so are other spots on property.

Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort has released its own 50th Anniversary items in honor of its anniversary and Disney’s Contemporary Resort is next! The resort also opened in 1971, and now there is some special anniversary merchandise, including some new Mickey Ears and more!

We regret to inform your wallets that a NEW pair of Contemporary Resort Mickey Ears has hit the scene. We found these at Buena Vista Gifts inside of Disney’s Contemporary Resort, alongside some new merchandise celebrating the hotel’s 50th anniversary. And, the BEST part of these ears is that they feature a tiny little monorail on them!

The ears themselves are a shimmery, white color and have a retro design of Mickey on one side and a retro design of Minnie on the other, surrounded by stars and sparkles!

The rest of the band is blue on the outside, and red on the inside…

…and when you flip them around you’ll find a 50th-anniversary logo for the resort and “All aboard the highway in the sky” written on the ears.

If you’d like to wear the Highway in the Sky on your head, you can get these ears for $39.99.

But, the ears aren’t the only new 50th Anniversary items you’ll find at the Contemporary. We also spotted a new pin for $12.99…

…a new mug (that has a monorail handle!) for $22.99….

…a new shirt featuring a retro Mickey design and the monorail for $24.99…

…a new collared shirt featuring more of that retro/future design for $85…

…a new print of the Contemporary near the Castle, monorail, and more for $39.99…

…and a new MagicBand (sold behind the counter) for $44.99.

It’s got Mickey standing in front of the Contemporary Resort on one side…
