It’s been a day full of holiday cheer with news from Disney on what the parks will look like around the holidays this year!

So far we know that Disney World will be filled with specialty merchandise, activities, and even a brand new event, and more. But, that’s not the only Disney getaway that you’ll be able to celebrate the holidays!
Disney Cruise Line has announced that they will be bringing BACK Very Merrytime Cruises this year from early November through December!

And, it’s not just one cruise ship that is getting decked out — the entire Disney Cruise Line fleet will feature holiday decorations, characters dressed for the occasion, and specialty entertainment! So, what exactly can you expect?
The atrium on each cruise ship will be completely transformed with a three-deck-tall Christmas tree. Plus, almost everywhere you look on the ship you’ll be able to find garlands, poinsettias, and shimmering lights.

Of course, Disney characters are getting in on the festivities too and you’ll be able to meet Mickey in his winter sweater, Pluto with antlers, Goofy in his Santa suit, and more!

But, that’s not all — Santa Claus himself will also be making an appearance throughout the day on the ship and the long-time tradition, Storytime with Mrs. Claus will return.

And, there will be even more to find on Castaway Cay where there will be a giant Christmas tree, holiday island music, and even some “snow” flurries that will blow through the tropical island.

The cruise itineraries are already available on the Disney Cruise Line website, so you can start booking your tropical holiday getaway today!
