Disney World has taken many measures to keep its guests and Cast Members safe when they’re visiting the parks, resorts, and other places on property.

Since numerous health and safety measures have been implemented into the parks, the message that plays through the speakers in Disney World have provided helpful information regarding non-compliance, face masks, eating and drinking while remaining stationary, and the banning of maskless photos.
As we were waiting in line to board the Kilimanjaro Safaris and catch up with our best pal (Geoffrey the Giraffe), the regular health and safety announcement overhead had another small addition.

Although the rest of the speech detailed the requirement for masks and increased sanitization, the overhead announcement also included a new line that stated guests are unable to “eat or drink in line” for attractions.

Previously we have seen guests eat and drink in line when stationary.
Since the parks have continued to update their health and safety regulations, Disney World is constantly notifying guests of updated measures in the parks. The mask announcements have been updated multiple times as Disney continues to implement health and safety measures. We will continue to keep you posted so you’re in the know! Stay tuned for more.
